Cancellations and Returns

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges if you have changed your mind on a livestock order. Please research your intended purchase(s) before committing to payment to make sure that they are suitable for your aquarium. If a livestock item is no longer in stock or unable to be supplied due to unforeseeable circumstances (such as ill-health or death), we will offer a full refund or a store credit of equal value to the original purchase price. In such circumstances, we will make contact and offer you the choice between these two options. 

For dry goods and/or equipment orders, you will remain liable for full payment of the price of the purchased item should you fail to provide a cancellation notice within 12 hours of the transaction. If you wish to return an unused item it must also be unopened and in the original packaging

If you wish to exchange your dry goods and/or equipment purchase, we are happy to do this up to the value of the item(s). They must also be unopened and in the original packaging. Additionally, you must pay for the postage of the replacement item(s) in the event that this is necessary. 

Where a dry good or piece of equipment has been received as defective, or malfunctions under its stated warranty period, we will fulfill our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a suitable remedy (this is not applicable to livestock). While this MIGHT end in exchanging the faulty goods for a direct replacement, other steps may be taken prior to this, depending on the nature of the fault. In such circumstances, you will be required to pay postage costs in the event that this is necessary.
